Monks wheat bread is specially formulated to meet the eat-to-stay-well need of many people who find conventional flour bread detrimental to health or those who would want a very good alternative to flour bread .

To this end, the monks of St Benedict Monastery Ewu have been working towards developing a formula that will not only be nourishing and pleasant to the palate but one that will also promote the physical and mental well being of the consumers.

Monks' Wheat Bread is not just another formula in bread making that has been designed to satisfy some hunger but one that takes into account the health benefits of eating the right food. As a result of this, refined sugar in bread making has been replaced by pure natural honey while  refined flour has been replaced by whole wheat to give monks' wheat bread a unique substance.
